The common problem in the current household diaphragm is the lack of consistency, which is mainly manifested as irregular defects, unqualified porosity, uneven thickness, pore distribution and pore size distribution. In terms of porosity and pore size distribution, the domestic PP separator with uniaxial stretch is relatively close to that of foreign products. The porosity of biaxially oriented pE films is usually lower than that of foreign products, and the pore size distribution is not ideal. These issues are potential risks for the industry to be "at the mercy of others". If it cannot be solved, it may limit the healthy development of China's lithium-ion battery industry.
